Every week Have a Heart Pet Shelter showcases some of their kiddos. This week Elliott is their pet of the week.
Elliott is a fox terrier who is extremely outgoing. He’s about 6 months old and does not have an issue with cats (as seen in picture), dogs and people. Elliott weighs about 16 pounds and is already housebroken. Elliott could really use a home where he can burn off a lot of puppy energy.
We are not featuring a specific cat this week. We have some awesome kittens/cats in the shelter. Our prices on the kitties over 8 months old is $25, kittens are $50. All the felines have been spayed/neutered, have their rabies shot, dewormed, and current on vaccinations. We would really like to find homes for these kitties, since spring always brings more litters of unwanted kittens in need of care.
The shelter is closed Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday. Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday hours are 9 am to 3 pm. The thrift store has a lot of new merchandise. Come on in a check it out. We also have homemade dog cookies for a small donation of $2.00 a bag. And, we haven’t forgotten about the kitties, we also have kitten treats. Although the business part of the shelter may be closed, we still walk the fur-kids every day and can still use afternoon volunteers. Afternoon dog walking time is 2:00 pm.
