Say hello to our canine of the week, Bambi!
Bambi is a sweet brindle Cur mix girl who is around eight months old. She was picked up by Animal Control so, sadly, we don’t know her history. Bambi weighs in around 33 pounds now and shouldn’t get much bigger so she will be medium-sized at maturity.
This girl is such a doll – always happy to see our volunteers and visitors. She’s good on a leash and gets along well with other dogs.
Come meet her at the Shelter and we bet you’ll fall right in love!
This week we’ve got cuteness overload to feature in kitties! Kallie, Ella Fitzgerald, and Billie Holiday!
Mama Kallie
Ella Fitzgerald
Billie Holiday
Kallie and her four kittens were abandoned on a side street in Summit when her kits were only two days old. Someone contacted the local authorities who then reached out to Have a Heart.
Late that afternoon, the Shelter cat supervisor found a modified ice chest sitting on the porch of an abandoned house. With the help of neighbors, who knew the mama cat from the neighborhood and several previous litters, Mom was placed in a live trap for safety. She and her kittens were transported to the Shelter where they grew up.
Kallie is a long-haired Calico who, we estimate, is an older gal, maybe six or seven years old and her kittens were born on May 25th. She and two of her kittens are still looking for their furever home.
The calico kitten is Ella Fitzgerald and the long-haired white kitten is Billie Holiday.
If you’d like to meet Bambi, Kallie, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday or any of our other adoptables, please give Have a Heart a call at 870/449-7387 or visit our Shelter at 657 Highway 202 West in Yellville during our normal business hours, Tuesday through Saturday, 9 am to 3 pm.
