This week’s kitties of the week are Cherry, Frosty, and Sonic!
This cute litter of three was found without their mama, hiding under a rock overhang near the local Sonic Drive-In. A Good Samaritan saw them and looked for their mama without any luck. He contacted the Shelter and, at that time, we had space so we were able to take them in.
We estimate their date-of-birth as around July 4th. There is a female red tabby with white paws named Cherry. The other two are boys – a gray named Frosty and a black one named Sonic.
These tiny sweethearts were pretty scared at first but, after some kindness, good meals and medical care, they are happy and healthy and ready for a foster home.
Our dog of the week is Jesse!
Hello there; my name is Jesse! I am a nine-month-old Shepherd mix that was abandoned by my original owners. They just moved away and left six puppies to fend for ourselves in rural Yellville. Thank goodness for the neighbors who started feeding us and contacted the Shelter for assistance.
I am a great young dog. I get along well with other dogs and I’m not a crazy young puppy. I am learning to walk on a leash and being taken outside after eating so I learn about keeping my kennel clean and being housebroken.
I am a smart boy and love all the people who have been caring for me and my siblings. Some of us have been adopted already, but three of us are still at the Shelter and really, really hoping for a home of our own.
Please stop by and ask for us by name: Jesse, Alice and James. We’ll be watching for you with love in our hearts and wags in our tails!
If you’d like to meet Cherry, Frosty, Sonic, Jesse, Alice, James or any of our other adoptables, please give Have A Heart a call at 870/449-7387 or stop by the Shelter located at 657 Highway 202 West in Yellville during our normal business hours, 9 am to 3 pm, Tuesday through Saturday.
