Pets of the Week

Greetings to everyone! We hope y’all enjoyed Turkey Trot this weekend and we want to thank everyone who dropped by our booth to visit and shop!

This week, our kitty of the week is Wally!unnamed.jpg

This little boy was found with his two sisters behind a local gas station’s cardboard dumpster. A good Samaritan who was picking up the cardboard for the Transfer Station saw them and contacted the Shelter. We were able to take them into the Shelter because we’ve had some recent adoptions. The two sisters have a foster pending adoption, so their brother is looking for his own forever home.

Wally is a cute black and white kitten estimated to be about three months old.

Our canine of the week is Bear!0.jpg

Bear is a nine-month-old, 11 pound female mixed breed pup. We “think” she is part Chihuahua and some darling scruffy breed that makes her coat wiry. She is a wee bit shy at first but she quickly bonds with people and wants nothing more than to be an adorable lap dog.

Bear went to Turkey Trot with us this past weekend and did well with the crowd and loud noises. If you have a lap just waiting for a sweet little girl, she could be the one!

If you’d like to meet Wally, Bear, or any of our other adoptables, please call Have A Heart at 870/449-7387 or stop by the Shelter located at 657 Highway 202 West in Yellville during our normal business hours, Tuesday through Saturday, 9 am to 3 pm! Wally and Bear will be SO happy to see you! And so will we.
