Pets of the Week

Happy February all!

This week our featured canines are a pair of siblings, Tic and Tac.

These boys are a Blue Heeler mix and came to us because their owner was no longer able to care for them so they were surrendered to Have A Heart.

A year old, they each weigh around 25 pounds. Tic and Tac are energetic youngsters that love to play! So far they have gotten along well with the other dogs at the Shelter and they do well with young children. However, they are a little rambunctious for smaller children, but they do like them.

These brothers are doing great on a leash and we are also working with them on house training.

If you’re interested in having a dog (or two!) that will take long walks and keep you busy, these could be your guys. While they do not have to be adopted together, we thought we would feature them both since they are so similar.

Stop in at the Shelter and take a look. If you spend a little time with them, you will see their great little personalities shine through.

Our featured feline of the week is Jackye!

Sweet little Jackye was surrendered with her three sisters in early January. They were initially nervous little babies but have blossomed into curious, rambunctious kittens. Jackye is just over three months old and was recently spayed so she is ready for a new adventure in a warm, loving furever home! If you’ve got room in your home and heart for a precious little ball of fur, this just might be your girl!

If you’d like to meet Tic, Tac, Jackye or any of our other adoptables, please give us a call at Have A Heart at 870/449-7387 or stop in at the Shelter located at 657 Highway 202 West in Yellville during our normal business hours, Tuesday through Saturday, 9 am to 3 pm. And if you’d like to volunteer at Have A Heart, we’d love to visit with you! We’ve got all kinds of jobs and we’ll find the right one for you!
