Isn’t it nice to see some sunshine finally? We, at Have A Heart, are sending healing thoughts to everyone impacted by last week’s horrific weather.
This week’s featured pet is Daddy-O!

Hello, my name is Daddy-O. I’m a medium-sized mixed-breed dog weighing around 35 pounds. I am mostly white with brindle spots and I am estimated to be around two years old.
I’ve been at the Shelter since October 2024, mostly because I’m a nervous boy. Sadly, I am easily frightened of new things. I’m getting better about being walked on a leash and going potty outside. I love the company of other dogs over people and I learn best when I’m with other dogs.
To my future forever home, I wish for my new people to be very patient with me. I have had a rough start to life, so I don’t trust too many humans. I would probably do best in a very quiet household with maybe one or two other doggie friends. A fenced-in yard would be nice as well, so I can play.
As always, remember shelter dogs can take up to three months to adjust to a new home, so please be patient. The reward will be great!
If you would like to visit me or any of the other adoptables at Have A Heart, the Shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. It’s located at 657 Highway 202 West in Yellville and the phone number is 870/449-7387. Come see us!
