Hello from Have a Heart Pet Shelter!

Hi, my name is Lucy. I am a seven-month-old female terrier mix weighing approximately 25 pounds but still growing.
I am an energetic puppy who loves to play and go on walks. I’m still working on house training, but with time and a consistent routine, I’ll learn fast. Currently I am learning to sit and wait.
I would do best in a house without young toddlers as I’m still working on my manners about not jumping. I’m still a young girl so I love to chew and play with lots of toys.
I do get along well with other dogs and have been tested with cats and as long as they don’t bother me we get along. (Don’t tell anyone, but I am more afraid of cats than they are of me.)!
I’d love to meet you! Please remember shelter dogs can take up to three months to adjust to a new home so be patient with me.

This week’s featured kittens are a brother and sister pair, Basil and Honey. They were born February 8th and were surrendered to the Shelter mid-April.
Both brother and sister are adorable gray kittens at the perfect age to get a home of their own.
They’ve had their first set of shots, been microchipped, dewormed, and treated for fleas and ticks. They still need their second and third sets of vaccines, rabies shots and spay/neuter surgery to complete their adoption but they can go into a foster home right now.
If you’d like to meet Lucy, Basil and Honey, or any of our other adoptables, please call Have A Heart at 870/449-7387 or stop by the Shelter located at 657 Highway 202 West in Yellville during our normal business hours, Tuesday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Hope to see you soon!
