The featured kitties this week are the last two female cats that were abandoned earlier this year at the Fairview boat dock. We featured their story in an earlier article and on our Facebook page. Out of the nine cats rescued, we have two females and a male left. The others have found homes (in pairs) as cared-for barn or shop kitties. These two girls would be perfect for the same living conditions.

Abby is a black and white kitty and Alice is mostly black with just a little bit of white. Abby is somewhat more trusting of people and can be seen sitting in the Cattery, playing with toys and interacting with some of the other cats. Alice is more of a ninja kitty. You’ll see her swooshing from one hiding spot to another in the Cattery. Keeping them together as a pair of cared-for barn/shop kitties would be good as they will watch out for each other.
These kitties have all come a long way from being emaciated so badly they had drastic hair loss. Now they have beautiful fur coats now and deserve a second chance at happiness!

Hello, my name is Bolt and I am a six-month-old black and white border collie mix. My brother (Fletcher) and I were strays that ended up at a place that couldn’t keep us, so they took us to Have A Heart Pet Shelter.
We have only been here a little over two weeks but we have already been neutered and up to date on all our shots. I am still working on not jumping on people, but I am learning fast!
I do try to keep a clean house, but I’m not fully potty trained yet. While being at the Shelter they are teaching me how to walk on a leash and new tricks. I would love a family that has kids and possibly other dogs so I could have a companion. Also, please be patient with the process because shelter dogs like me can take up to three months to adjust to a new home.
If you would like to visit me, Alice and Abby, or any of our other adoptables, call Have a Heart at 870/449-7387 or stop by the Shelter located at 657 Highway 202 West in Yellville during our normal business hours, Tuesday through Saturday, 9 am to 3 pm. See you soon!
