We are so glad that the community is sharing our need for volunteers. Some of you aren’t happy about our age 18 or over policy for volunteers. Many of the kids that worked here some months ago did a great job. Unfortunately that wasn’t always the case. The 18 or over policy stands to protect the health and safety of everyone involved-the kids, the adult volunteers, the animals and the shelter. Kids can still help, if they want to have a fundraiser to help us keep the shelter going, or maybe they could make some dog and cats toys and bring them in for the furkids. They can help us share posts on fb if they’re on fb. There are other, safe ways that kids can make a real difference for these pets. ??❤️????????
