Greetings everyone from Have A Heart Pet Shelter!
Our cat of the week is Scamper.
Scamper and his siblings were born to a feral mama cat on 10/14/23. The mama cat was trapped, spayed, rabies vaccinated, and ear tipped then released back to her location via TNR. The kittens were tamed and brought to the shelter when we had space. They arrived mid February and quickly settled in to their new surroundings.
Scamper is a beautiful, lean and lanky black kitten. He is super friendly and loves to be held. He’s also very curious and gets along with all the other cats in the Cattery.
Our dog of the week is Poppa.
Poppa is a four-year-old tri-colored shepherd mix. He currently weighs 58 pounds and is fully grown. He was a stray that was brought to us by animal control after his time limit was up for staying with them.
Poppa gets along well with other dogs, but has not been tested with cats. He has been out in the yard at the shelter and loved running around. He seems to get along with all people too. He walks great on a leash and is house trained. Come meet him and maybe he will be your forever dog. He is just waiting to meet you!
