Oh, how I love all my roommates here at Have a Heart Pet Shelter; what I would love more is a family of my own.
Hello! My name is Sissy. I am a year old Lab/Coonhound mix. I weigh about 35 pounds, I came to the shelter after spending several days in an animal control facility. All the volunteers say I am an extremely sweet gal; I do love everybody. I get along with all dogs as well. I get lots of love in return from the volunteers at the shelter; however, it is just not the same as return love from my own human. I really don’t think to ask for my own family is asking a lot. Will you open your doors and your Heart to me?
Are there any community supporters out there that could help the shelter with new or used tires for the shelter’s 2000 Ford Explorer? P255/70R16 or LT245/75R16. The shelter uses this vehicle to transport all their kiddos to and from the vet for spay/neuter and other various appointments. Please call the shelter at 870-449-7387 if you or know someone that could help the shelter.
Do you have a spare hour or two to volunteer walking dogs? The shelter is still in need of Saturday and Sunday dog walkers.
