Our dog this week is Cache. He is a handsome, 2-year-old male Mountain Cur that was brought to the Shelter by a Park Service Ranger after he was found at a campground on the Buffalo River. He weighs in at 36 lbs. He is a very loveable little guy. He loves to be petted, walks well on a leash, and gets along well with other dogs. We have not tried him with cats.

Rachet, the kitty of the week, is a loveable little white and gray boy. He is not very vocal and loves to be cuddled and held. He and his siblings were born on July 16th to a semi-feral mama. A kind caregiver took care of them and made sure the kittens got socialized. Mama has been spayed and Ratchet’s brother and two sisters have already been adopted into loving homes. Maybe this little cutie is what you are looking for to curl up with in the evenings now that’s it’s getting colder.
