Hey, folks! My name is Atticus. I came to the Shelter in late October (don’t tell anyone, but I even had a police escort, thanks to the Flippin Police Department). I was feeling kinda sad because I was very hungry and my skin was badly infected. I didn’t know what I was going to do. But the officer brought me to Have A Heart and the nice people here have gotten me all fixed up. I’m now in excellent health (amazing what regular meals will do for ya!). I heard the volunteers say I walk well on a leash, I’m housebroken, and I love all the volunteers! I’m kind of a lady’s man…I get along well with the female dogs but I’m not at all crazy about other males (especially if they are intact). The folks at the Shelter think I’m a lab/terrier mix and I currently weigh around 65 pounds. Wouldn’t you like to get to know me?
Next up is handsome Ewan McGregor! I’ve been told there’s a celebrity with the same name but he’s got nothing on me! I’m, to put it bluntly, adorable. I just came to HAH last weekend and am part of a litter of two boys and two girls. I’m the only long-haired kitty in the group. (The “floof” is strong with this one.) My other siblings have gorgeous, unusual coat patterns. They say we’re about five months old and we’re going to be spayed/neutered in the next couple of weeks. (I don’t really know what that means, but I hope it involves treats if I’m a good boy!) The nice volunteers here also told me that my sisters, like all kittens, can have babies when they’re only four months old! I was shocked. Anyway, they’ll get us all fixed up and ready for our furever homes. We’re still a little shy but we’re all curious and lovable, so come look us up. You know you want to!
