Pets Of The Week

Pets of the Week

This week we’re back to our regular format featuring a couple of our adoptable pets. In keeping with the holiday spirit, our kitty Tinsel gets top spot. Tinsel will win you over with his sparkling purr-sonality. He was found as a stray kitten by a caring citizen. He’s a handsome brown tabby boy with super soft fur and a perfect pink nose. Born mid May – June, he’s currently about 7 months old. He’s healthy, playful, curious, outgoing, super loving and affectionate; a perfect companion for anyone or any family. Maybe you need some Tinsel to brighten your world. Stop by Have a Heart to meet Tinsel and our other adorable kitties.

Our featured dog for this week is Prince. Prince is a medium sized, (38 pounds) young tri-colored hound mix. He is a sweet young fellow, and as you can see from his picture, he has very expressive eyes and ears. Prince is very affectionate and attentive with people of all ages and he’s an active, willing to go guy! He gets along with other dogs and loves to play. A home to call his own was at the top of Prince’s letter to Santa. Visit Have a Heart to meet Prince and all of our other sweet adoptable dogs.

‘Tis the season for shopping. Many folks like the convenience of on-line shopping, and Amazon is a frequent destination. Did you know that you can support Have a Heart while shopping at Amazon? Have a Heart is registered with the Amazon Smile Program. From the drop down list under you account, you will find the Amazon Smile charities list. Click on that link, then choose our local Shelter as your preferred charity. A portion of your purchase will end up helping the fur-kids at Have Heart.

Thanks to everyone that’s dropped by our Shelter with donations. The atmosphere at the Shelter is often hectic and we may occasionally forget to personally acknowledge your generosity, but we appreciate any and all the help we receive from our community. Without our selfless volunteers and generous community support we would not be able to help all the unwanted, abused or neglected animals that cross our threshold. Have a Heart is located at 657 Highway 202 in Yellville. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday 9am to 3 pm. Phone 870-449-7387.
