It is hot! Even so, Have a Heart Pet Shelter had a great turnout for the yard sale last weekend. Many thanks to the volunteers who helped and to all who browsed and shopped. As always, 100% of the proceeds are used to provide care for the dogs and cats. We had a busy week at the shelter. Several kittens were adopted, and we sent 9 pre-adopted dogs on transport to Massachusetts. Twenty-one puppies are leaving Thursday to go the Humane Society of Missouri for adoption there. We will be bringing in new dogs from our wait list for adoption so check in often to see our new dogs. We are not featuring a dog this week but are showcasing a couple of the beautiful kittens that are available: Malcomb (red with white muzzle) and his brother Jamie (all red). Both these riotously red-haired boys are playful, healthy, well-socialized and will be fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped and tested for FeLV and FIV.
