Pets Of The Week

This past week was a bit less hectic than usual at Have a Heart. We held a yard sale last weekend and had a good turnout. Our Thrift Store volunteers will spend the next week or so setting up our “Winter Wonderland” of holiday merchandise. Show your support for the Shelter by shopping our Thrift Store this holiday season. Proceeds from all sales go for care of the Shelter’s pets.

Our featured cat for this week is Ms. Tiddles. She is named after the cat on the old Brit comedy “Are You Being Served?” Ms. Tiddles is a gorgeous polydactyl bobtail – a very unique combination! We estimate her to be only one to two years old. She was abandoned when her owner kept having to go in and out of the hospital and didn’t want her anymore. A kind neighbor began caring for her, even after she showed up with kittens in tow! She found homes for a couple of the kittens and we were able to get the other three squeezed into the shelter. We have one of her kittens left – a little black male polydactyl named Mittens. Ms Tiddles is very sweet and loving and would transition well to being a house kitty again. Stop by the Shelter to meet Ms. Tiddles, Mittens and our other adoptable pets. We are not featuring a specific dog this week. Have a Heart is located at 657 Highway 202 in Yellville. Hours of operation are Thursday through Saturday, 9 am to 3 pm. Phone 870-449-7387.
