Pets of the Week

This week, Have A Heart would like to introduce you to a couple of rarities…

Meet Penny and Phantom!

Penny

Phantom

Penny and Phantom are siblings born November 26th last year. They arrived at the shelter in early February.

These fur kids are unique in that they are polydactyl! For those who might not know, polydactyl kitties have extra toes. Some are just on the front, some just on the back, and some have extra toes on all four paws, like these kids. (Fun fact: Writer Ernest Hemingway had polydactyl cats at his home in Key West, Florida. If you tour the property, you’ll almost certainly encounter some descendants of those cats.)

Penny is a cute dilute calico and her brother is a white and black kitten. He reminded us of the Phantom of the Opera, thus his name. Both of these beautiful kittens are friendly and easy to handle. Penny is a lover – she’ll start purring as soon as you look at her! Phantom is very playful and boisterous. One of his favorite things to do is play with shoestrings.

They both enjoy cuddling (and play fighting) together, however they don’t have to be adopted together.

If you’d like to meet Penny, Phantom, or any of our other adoptables, come by the shelter at 657 Highway 202 West in Yellville or call 870/449-7387 during our normal business hours, Tuesday through Saturday, 9 am to 3 pm. See you soon!
