Our featured pup this week is Candy. Here’s her story- “I’m a Walker coonhound mix who was left abandoned to live under a house trailer for about three weeks. A kind neighbor fed me and my kitty friend under the house trailer until the weather turned cold. She didn’t want us to get sick or freeze to death so she called the shelter and they took us in. Despite all I’ve been through, I’m a very forgiving young pup who just wants to cuddle. I don’t have any issues with dogs, cats, or children. I haven’t gone potty in my kennel since the shelter has had me. I’m really good going potty outside. Could you find it in your heart to adopt me? I really would love a fur-ever home.”
