Each week Have a Heart Pet Shelter has been featuring some of our adoptable pets. This week’s featured dog is Tinker. Here’s her story: Tinker is a Hound mix weighing approximately 65 pounds. She was left abandoned, tied to a tree for days before a neighbor saw her and began feeding her. Tinker was so neglected and malnourished that she trusted no one. It took time for the kind neighbor to gain her trust to get close to her. Tinker is now a loyal, fun loving pooch with only a little downfall, she is an Alpha dog. She’s picky on her dog friends. Come on in and visit Tinker, she loves company. Maybe she could become your best friend.
We are not featuring a specific cat this week. We have many playful, healthy cats and kittens that are in need of loving homes. We are going to continue adopting the cats/kittens for the discounted fee of $25. All have been spayed or neutered, are current on basic 3 in 1 cat vaccinations, dewormed, vaccinated against Rabies, litter box trained, flea-free and oh so loving, playful, healthy and adorable. Stop by the shelter to meet some of these adorable felines and maybe even take one home with you.
The shelter and thrift store has new hours. We will be closed Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday. Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday hours are 9 am to 3 pm. Although the business part of the shelter may be closed, we still walk the fur-kids every day and can still use afternoon volunteers. Afternoon dog walking time is 2:00 pm.
