Pet Of The Week

Springtime is usually what the volunteers at Have a Heart refer to as “kitten season”, yet here we are in Fall and HAH still taking in litters of unplanned kittens. There are two more litters that have been in foster homes coming to the Shelter this week. If you are thinking of adopting a kitten, stop by Have a Heart and meet some of the new fur babies. You can help slow the never ending supply of unwanted litters by spaying and neutering your pets.

The Have a Heart Thrift Store is continuing the current sale with many items being reduced by 25-50%. We are trying to make room for some new merchandise and will be setting up the “Winter Wonderland” soon which features many Christmas and seasonal items at great prices. Stop by and score some bargains while supporting the Shelter at the same time.

Last week lucky dogs Queenie, Sammie and senior girl Bugsy were adopted. Dillon, the most recent store greeter at All Pet went to his fur-ever home. Charlie Chaplin is their new store greeter. This kitty is as cute as can be, with a little fur mustache that will remind you of his namesake every time he gives you kitty rubs. Stop by All Pet and Equine in Mountain Home to meet Charlie Chaplin and thank the kind folks in the store for helping us find homes for some of our kittens.

Our featured kitty for this week is Sebastian. Sebastian is a tall, dark and handsome 6 month old boy. He’s long and lanky due to being part Siamese. He is quiet and mysterious. Sebastian loves being petted and purrs with happiness. In his photo he’s practicing his scary Halloween pose.

You can meet Sebastian and our other adoptable pets during regular Shelter hours, Thursday through Saturday, 9am to 3pm. Have a Heart is located at 657 Highway 202 in Yellville. Phone 870-449-7387.
