Pets of the Week

Brrrr! The temperatures are steadily dropping, especially at night, so Have A Heart would like to remind you to take the necessary steps to ensure any outside animals are properly sheltered!

This week we’ve got two cutie patooties as our pets of the week.

First up is Charlie!

This girl is an adorable two-year-old Husky Mix. She is an active, athletic dog that is intelligent, affectionate, and well-behaved. Charlie has been living in a foster home for six months because the shelter is just too stressful for smart, active dogs. She is house trained, kennel trailed, and crate trained. She knows “sit,” “go potty,” “no,” “cookie,” and she shakes hands!

Charlie likes to hunt grasshoppers and tosses them in the air to catch. She is also a ratter! In her foster home he is currently living with other dogs and a cat and is not interested at all in neighboring dogs, but when she is at the shelter to meet a strange dog she becomes agitated. She would most likely do bet as an only dog or with an adopter who can make a slow introduction. Let us know if you’d like to meet her.

And then there is this boy, Sterling!

Sterling is a handsome four- month-old male gray and white Domestic Shorthair. He and his siblings were surrendered by their owner. He is a very friendly, playful boy who gets along great with other cats and kittens. He could learn to live with dogs. Sterling’s fur is very sleek and soft. Wouldn’t he make a wonderful addition to your home?

If you’d like to meet Charlie, Sterling, or any of our other adoptables please come see us at the Shelter located at 657 Highway 202 West in Yellville or call us at 870/449-7387 during normal business hours, Tuesday through Saturday, 9 am to 3 pm.  We hope to see you soon!
