Pets of the Week

Happy New Year to all our readers! We hope 2024 will prove to be a good year for us all and for all the furbabies we care for!

Our Cat of the Week is Tom.

Tom (and his sister, Tina) were found abandoned in a parking lot at only six weeks old. A Good Samaritan brought them home and cared for them until we had space at the Shelter. They arrived a couple of days before Christmas on December 23rd. We estimate their date of birth to be around August 20.

Tom is a long haired dark gray male kitten. They are both very cuddly and playful. A couple of frisky kitten siblings, for sure. While they do not have to be adopted together, if there are no other pets in the household two kittens are usually better than one!

Up next, our Dog of the Week is Maverick!

Are you planning to start 2024 by getting back in shape after indulging over the holidays? If so, Maverick is the guy to help you with your exercise program!

Maverick is a 40-pound, energetic boy who was picked up as a stray. He’s a friendly guy, probably a little under a year old. Maverick would most likely do well with another dog of a similar size and energy level, but he chooses his friends carefully so a meet and greet is recommended. As you can see from his photo, he’s a happy guy with an athletic build. We’re sure he would love to go on walks or runs with you.

Maverick has been vetted and neutered and will be ready to go home with an approved applicant.

If you’d like to meet Tom, Tina, Maverick or any of our other adoptables, please call Have A Heart at 870/449-7387 or stop by at 657 Highway 202 West in Yellville during our normal business hours, Tuesday through Saturday, 9 am to 3 pm. We hope to see you soon!
